Sample output
Two treatment plans, as the software wrote them
The report is what leaves the planning session in GuideMia dental implant software and reaches the surgery. These are real reports generated by GuideMia Implant Master from the two cases the Quick Start Guide follows — open them and read the drilling instructions.
Single-unit plan
One posterior mandibular fixture planned on a CBCT with an intra-oral scan, with a tissue-borne guide.
1 implant · Glidewell IDS Universal 4.70 × 11.50 mm · Glidewell kit · no anchor pins · tissue-borne guide
Full-arch plan
A maxilla planned on a radiographic guide: four CAMLOG fixtures and three anchor pins in a tissue/tooth-borne guide.
4 implants · CAMLOG SCREW-LINE Promote plus 3.80 and 5.00 mm · Camlog kit · 3 anchor pins · tissue/tooth-borne guide
How the report is produced
The report is the third of three outputs at the end of a case. The surgical guide is exported as STL for whoever prints it, the project and its plan revisions are saved to your own storage, and the report goes to the surgery. It is generated from the plan itself, so the implant list and the drilling sequence describe the same plan the exported guide was built from.
Before it produces anything, the reporting page asks for the practitioner: dentist, business, telephone and email, which print on the plan so a question about it reaches the person who made it. A customer logo file puts a lab's or a clinic's own branding on the report, and the 360 slice views option adds a full rotation of slice views to the standard set. Generate Report then asks for portrait or landscape; the report is largely tables, and landscape is the recommended orientation. Each run produces an HTML file and a PDF.
What differs on a full arch
The full-arch case passes the plan validation gate before its guide is generated. The gate lists every criterion the software checks, among them nerve clearance, implants that intersect or sit too close, sleeves that interfere with the anatomy, a scan template that was not inspected with a virtual tissue model, CT slices thicker than 1 mm, and neighbouring implants more than 20 degrees apart, and it marks the ones that failed. Those warnings and the guide status are printed in the report.
The report itself carries a row per fixture in the implant list and an anchor pins section with the count. With four fixtures there are four drilling sequences, and they are not necessarily the same, which is why the drilling instructions are the section to read before surgery.
What it contains
- Provider and patient, with the case number and planning date
- The disclaimer, with a signature line for the prescribing doctor
- Plan overview, and a panoramic view of the same plan
- The implant list — a row per fixture with tooth number in both notations, diameters, lengths, make and part number
- Anchor pins, with a count
- Drilling instructions, headed by the surgical kit, with the sequence per site
- Warnings raised by plan validation, and the surgical guide status
Patient identifiers and the planner's contact details have been removed. Every clinical figure — the implant list, the drilling instructions, the warnings and the guide status — is exactly as the software produced it.
