Surgical kit builder

Define a surgical kit GuideMia does not ship: the drill lengths, and per platform the drill guide, sleeve and flange dimensions, with optional sleeve and envelope models. Every value is checked against the way Implant Master uses it, and the result is one package that imports into GuideMia.

See Customising the surgical kit for what each parameter means and the sleeve coordinate rules.

Becomes the file name and the entry in GuideMia's kit list.

mm; 0 when the handle has no flange.

Drill lengths

Total length from the top of the guiding area to the tip, in increasing order. Six slots; leave the rest empty. The label is what the drilling sequence will show.

Platforms

One row per drill size, smallest implant OD first. GuideMia gives an implant the largest platform whose implant OD is not above the implant's diameter.

Sleeve models

Optional. Per platform, the sleeve STL and its envelope STL. Origin at the top centre, Z pointing down, X along mesial-distal. The envelope is what the guide is cut around and must be a closed solid with no holes, undercuts or grooves. Files stay in your browser until you download the package.

Importing into GuideMia

  1. In Implant Master, on the implant placement page, open the Surgical Kit and Guide Configuration dialog.
  2. Click Import Package and pick the downloaded zip. The kit file and its sleeve models are copied into your application data folder.
  3. The kit appears in the kit list under its name.

On a version without Import Package, extract the zip into %AppData%\GuideMia5.0 and restart GuideMia.
