Implant library builder

Define an implant brand that GuideMia does not ship: the brand, its series, and each fixture's dimensions. The result is a library file in GuideMia's own format, checked before you download it, that imports into your user library in Implant Master.

Parameters only for now; STL geometry and abutments are attached afterwards in the desktop dialog. See Expanding the implant library for what each figure means and the coordinate rules for geometry.

The manufacturer, as it will appear in GuideMia's Browse list.

Populate from the catalogue's sizes

Every diameter crossed with every length becomes a row named "Series diameterxlength". Delete the combinations the catalogue does not offer.

Importing into GuideMia

  1. In Implant Master, open Implant Library Management and choose the user library.
  2. Click Import Library File and pick the downloaded file. The brand is added to your user library; a brand with the same name is replaced after confirmation.
  3. The implants appear under Browse on the Place Implants page. Attach STL geometry per implant with Set STL if you have it.

On a version without Import, copy the file to %AppData%\GuideMia5.0\MyImplantCatalog.xml when you have no user library yet, or open it in the dialog's Browse.

Shared by users

User-defined files, as uploaded, with no check by GuideMia against the manufacturer's data. Check every figure against the catalogue before planning a patient on it.
